In the premiere episode of Talk Zebra, your favorite fellas from Abnormal
Entertainment offer you a different take on your average podcast. What
happens when you get a former couple together to talk about television,
music, and men in such segments as Five Dub, Music or Lose It and Man
of the Hour? In this introductory episode, the duo discuss these things
and how they first met (oh yeah! they're also a former long term
couple!!). Be ready for a heavy dose of shock and awe!
Jacob
went out to the Phoenix Film Festival and had the chance to speak to
some interesting people. First, he talked to Peter Block, producer of
Saw, Rambo and many other films. Peter also rund FEARnet, and had some
great news about Reaper.
This
week, Jacob and Isaac talk about Star Trek: The Motion Picture and The
Wrath Of Khan. They try to assign logic to why there were so many
loooong shots of the camera circling the Enterprise. They couldn't come
up with anything. They also can't figure out why Kirk seemed like such a
serious douche bag and why Spock seemed depressed. They talk about
director Robert Wise, writer Alan Dean Foster, 7th Heaven, and Ricardo
Mantalban's pecs.
Camm talks about his bad attitude and how a simple text message put one of his regular hookups in penile purgatory.
Due
to unforseen circumstances, Issue 16 was lost, so instead we have a
special treat for you. Nicholas Gyeney and Edi Zanidache were kind
enough to spend a fair amount of time talking to the boys recently in
seperate phone interviews. Up first is Nicholas, director and co-writer
of Matt's Chance. He and Jacob talked about everything from
dealing with actors people believe to be difficult to Lance Heriksen to
favorite movies.

Dave
and Kevin discuss some Netflix goodies, including the glut of Cartoon Network shows that are now streaming, Mad Men and the return of Arrested Development.
This
week, Jacob and Isaac discuss the first show since The Original Series
to be cancelled. That's right, we're talking about Star Trek:
Enterprise. They talk about how great Scott Bakula was, the time they
both met Jeffrey Combs, the hotness of T'Pol and what alien race they'd
most like to be with. There's also a strange discussion about Nazis,
time travel and UFOs.
Kevin's
dumb dog eats lip balm, Camm has a long work day, Kevin's shit smells
worse than death, John Hamm's penis comes up (not the way Camm would
hope), the guys talk about protecting their sisters and Kevin teaches
Camm and the audience how and why to say no after Camm is annoyed by our
buddy Cris Trinidad.
In lieu of a review, in memory of Roger Ebert, the boys read his review of Milk Money
that he wrote as two executives coming up with the idea for this
"Family" film. Each of the guys takes on one of the roles and then get
to the reading. Mr. Ebert, you will be missed.

Dave and Kevin reflect on the lives of several recently deceased figures in film. They discuss Jess Franco, Annette Funicello, Harry Reems, Richard Brooker and Roger Ebert. Dave also gives a little history lesson on Margaret Thatcher and censorship.
Fresh
off talking about Jacob's favorite Trek series, they move onto the one
he wishes never existed. Isaac doesn't share his hatred. Far from it. He
has many nice things to say. Over the episode, they discuss the
recasting of Captain Janeway, the terrible Neelix, everyone's favorite
Holographic Doctor and why the show sucked. Isaac once again offers up
some trivia, and, strangely, Jacob does better than the last two shows
he actually liked.
After
a short discussion about technical problems, Camm explains a problem
with a recent hookup. He then gets into stalker exes and how one of his
used to drive him crazy. This leads Kevin to look up his first
girlfriend on Facebook during the conversation.

and Dave battle technical issues to bring you a short episode this
week. They discuss upcoming Abnormal Entertainment projects that include
graphic novels, books, movie commentaries and more.
Deep
Space Nine is Jacob's favorite Star Trek series, and he couldn't wait
to talk about it. Isaac loves Weyoun and Tribbles. They both talk about
what made the show so great, and what the hell they think was wrong with
Terry Ferrell leaving the show in season six, why Jeffrey Combs
deserves more credit and where season seven went wrong. Once again,
Isaac finds some more obscure trivia to make Jacob look like a fool.
