The Gorram Nerd Hour Presents Holodeck Malfunction: Episode 11 - Beastie Boys, Prophets Of The Federation

This week Jacob and Isaac discuss the two best movies starring The Next Generation cast - Generations and First Contact.
Did you ever wonder who almost played Zephram Cochram, father of Warp Drive? Would Kirk ever play the flute? Will Picard ever find love? Who is truly responsible for the destruction of the Enterprise D? Was Lt. Hawk gay? Why does it sound like a juicy fart every time Jacob takes a drink from his soda? Why did the Spawn movie suck? Is there less bias in the press of the future? Is the government still a two party system? Are The Beastie Boys prophets of the Federation? Should Whoopi Goldberg have won an Academy Award?

They talk about all that and more in the latest episode of Holodeck Malfunction.

Isaac spends a little time explaining his frustration of the writers constantly miscalculating distance when it comes to warp speed. Jacob talks about whether genre fans are more accepting of Gay people than non fans?

Rottentail: The First Graphic Novel from Abnormal Entertainment is Available Now!

Written by David Hayes and Kevin Moyers

Pencilled by Kurt Belcher

Inked by Henrik Horvath

Pin-Ups by Michael Bracco

Buy it HERE!

May 2013 is the debut of Rottentail. This 60-page graphic novel from Creators Edge Press, written and created by David Hayes, tells the bizarre tale of young Peter Cotton, who grew up in the town of Easter Falls and loves rabbits. Peter’s science project on rabbit breeding is ruined when the school bullies beat up and actually kill his rabbit. Years later, the kindly but still shy Dr. Cotton works steadily, gently with his rabbits to cure human infertility. Unbeknownst to Peter, the military is perverting his work, developing fierce soldiers with strength far exceeding a human of their size, and with Peter’s fertility serum, the ability to breed in the field. Peter discovers the true nature of the experiment and tries to stop it. But in an accident of poetic justice, a bite from an experimental rabbit combines with Peter’s own serum to transform him into the evil Rottentail. This creature heads to Easter Falls to exact revenge for the wrongdoings of his youth and to finally lay claim to the love of his life. His timing could not be better since Easter Falls biggest day of the year is coming up and the entire town will be there to watch the annual Easter Parade.

The Atomic Fallout Society: Episode 84 - Hail, Hail, The Crew's All Here...

The captain returns! It's a full crew this week as The Atomic Fallout Society prepares for the upcoming Phoenix Comicon next week. But first...

We have reviews as we talk about the latest Iron Man storyline "The Secret Origin of Tony Stark". You think you know Iron Man? Not until you know Tony Stark...

The guys also review a couple of issues that make their debut this week, Dream Thief and Dream Merchant. No, it's not the same book, but it'll actually make better sense than the Iron Man book... trust us.

Lastly, the guys talk big about Phoenix Comicon, not because Abnormal will have a BIG presence at this year's con. It's probably because Brian and Dave are going to have a big week with their new movie... what sellouts.

The Atomic Fallout Society...did you miss us? We missed you.

The Gorram Nerd Hour: Volume 2 Issue 19

It’s that time of the week again. Brian and Jacob are coming straight(?) at you with another issue of The Gorram Nerd Hour! This week was full of news and musings from the heterhusband duo. They start the show off with a little bit of network TV news, what’s getting cancelled, what’s coming back, and what the fuck is wrong with NBC?

Schwarzenegger made the news yet again, and it has nothing to do with illegitimate children. The American movie-going population may be the problem with all things Hollywood, but don’t think that the BBC is any better.

The last few weeks have brought a recurring theme to the show with joblo.com’s movie jail, but that may come to the end with this week’s choice. It sure had Jacob’s panties in a twist. (Brian wasn’t complaining.)

Who else and what else do they talk about? Does Jacob untwist his panties, or does he need Brian’s teeth to help? You’ll have to listen to find out.

Talk Zebra: Episode 4: Tickle My Fancy

Before going into the segments that you know and love, the guys wax poetic on nicknames they used to have for each other, Sean Hayes' return to sitcom TV, and the upcoming visit to Phoenix for ComiCon.

In Five Dub, Camm takes us to the cinema, and tells you why I Am Sam is a must-see film.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EROTbDCr5ag

As usual, we have drastically different men for this week's Man Of The Hour.
Camm picks New Zealand funnyman Bret McKenzie, best known for Flight Of The Conchords, and he can be seen here https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRlqZo5d4xqzo2kT3BCwEzYWf6HTDn8nkuocExbp_vlOgcXTcMA
