The Gorram Nerd Hour: Volume 2 Issue 16

So here it is, the redux version of Issue 16, since Brian and technology don’t mix.

The boys kick off the show with a review of The Penitent Man starring Lance Henriksen and directed by Nicholas Gyeney. They then move into the news! It starts with some tax evasion and hate speech thanks to the Expendables, and then Brian gets angry that another show has been pulled before the first 10 episodes even air. A 90’s sitcom resurgence gets some attention, and Jacob tries to justify it.

Jacob and Brian disagree on who should be in Movie Jail thanks to joblo.com, but they definitely agree that the new TMNT movie is going to be a disaster.

Phoenix Comicon is coming, and a slew of new guests have been announced! Who is it that Jacob would go gay for? Tune in and find out!

The boys promised to give you the link from cracked.com, so here it is. Judge for yourself- http://www.cracked.com/article_20143_5-craziest-ways-men-have-censored-female-sexuality.html. A couple of Marvel actors get a mention, and then, of course, the show wouldn’t be a show without some bitching about Michael Bay.

Come give it a listen, that is, of course, assuming that Brian hasn’t fucked it up again.

The Gorram Nerd Hour: Volume 2 Issue 8

The boys start this week’s issue with a review of the new series Cult, created by Rockne S. O'Bannon, who is best known for Alien Nation and Farscape. Is it going to be just another version of The Following or is there something more here?

Jacob follows this up with some rather scathing commentary on the recent revelations about Kevin Smith’s career choices. Has he lost his mind?

The boys both take a look at yet another as Jacob puts it, ‘white-turned-black” remake and spend some time remembering all that have come before.

Marvel has announced some casting choices for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and you won’t want to miss what they have to say about that or how much Jacob isn’t looking forward to the new Wizard of Oz movie.

Speaking of movies, the boys take a minute to talk about the Star franchises, Star Wars and Star Trek, before moving into the TV news from the week.

The Gorram Nerd Hour wouldn’t be complete without some Felicia Day news before Jacob conducts and interview with an up and coming director in Andrew Weiner.

All this and more with the click of a button. It’s the Gorram Nerd Hour Volume 2 Issue 8 from Abnormal Entertainment.
