The Gorram Nerd Hour Presents Holodeck Malfunction: Episode 4 - Everybody Loves Dax

Deep Space Nine is Jacob's favorite Star Trek series, and he couldn't wait to talk about it. Isaac loves Weyoun and Tribbles. They both talk about what made the show so great, and what the hell they think was wrong with Terry Ferrell leaving the show in season six, why Jeffrey Combs deserves more credit and where season seven went wrong. Once again, Isaac finds some more obscure trivia to make Jacob look like a fool.

Stay tuned next week when they talk about Voyager in Voyager Of The Damned.

Unprotected Sports with Tony and The Lion: Round 60: Triple Play

It's a jam-packed week of sports talk. The guys reset the first week of NCAA Tournament action and give you a look at the Sweet 16, and in between you'll go back in time and hear about some more great moments in NCAA Tournament history. Leo makes some more picks in the Lion's Den, and even Tony offers up a wager.

Basketball isn't the only big topic this week. With Major League Baseball's Opening Day just about here, the guys will give you a preview of the season and tell you which teams will make the postseason. In between, the Pussification segment is back with three great subjects of discussion, and Tony isn't happy with a former NBA MVP.

Last but not least, the guys look back at the First Quarter Sandusky award winners and come to a consensus on which person is the most worthy of being named the First Quarter winner.

The Atomic Fallout Society: Episode 78 - Sans Sabal

It’s the return of the Atomic Fallout Society. Fresh off his departure from The Gorram Nerd Hour, Brian makes a comeback with a special guest, Justin Blair, Manager of Samurai Comics in Mesa.

They start off with their reviews, and this week was a good one! Both of them got to review NEW books, starting with their first issues. What will they think? You’ll have to listen to find out.

The show was a little bit shorter than usual as Brian tries to find his groove after the abrupt exit earlier in the week, and Justin does his best to keep the show on track.

When will the Sabals be back?  Not soon enough.

Why Pink?

by Kevin Moyers

This seems like a question some people might ask as Abnormal Entertainment's Facebook and Twitter feeds sport a pink version of our logo. My personal profile carries the same logo. There's a simple answer to this: Why is it even a question?

I know I can never speak exactly for the rest of the staff here at Abnormal or Cinema Head Cheese. Even those us at the owner level don't agree on everything politically or otherwise. That's just the way it is. We speak as individuals. When it comes to something like this, however, a little solidarity is in order. As I said, I don't speak for all of us. We might have podcast hosts and writers that disagree. I really don't know. I, however, have no problem sharing exactly how I feel on the subject.

Put It Together: Episode 62 - Politically Correct or Polite Segregation?

This week my friends Tiffany, Vel, and Christian sit down for a panel show. Has society taken political correctness too far? What happens when you mix White, Black, Hawaiian, and Mexican?

The Gorram Nerd Hour: Volume 2 Issue 13

The boys are back with Volume 2 Issue 13 of the show. First off, Jacob reviews The Frankenstein Theory alone, because Brian didn't watch it.

They quickly move into news about a possible Dinsey/Star Wars theme park. Good news for Jake Lloyd for sure, but how about the fans? Is it worth Disney branding everything in the Star Wars universe like they do with everything else?

Are the Late Night Wars about to start up again? Leno's on his way out. What does this mean for Late Night television? Will it get good again?

Is Tom Hanks going crazy? Is G.I. Joe: Retaliation worth seeing this weekend? Who should be the new Green Lantern in the Justice League movie? Is Will Smith a douche? Who belongs in movie jail, and who should go to death row? All that and more in the latest episode of The Gorram Nerd Half Hour.

Yes, we said half hour. We cut the recording short because Brian decided to act very unprofessionally and quit mid-show. Don't worry, Jacob will be back next week with a temporary co-host.

The Gorram Nerd Hour Presents Holodeck Malfunction: Episode 3 - The Search For Crusher

Jacob and Isaac are back with an hour devoted to Star Trek: The Next Generation. In the episode they discuss everything from their favorite moments of the show to noteworthy guest stars. Isaac talks about how this was his gateway into Trek and how Mark Twain and bad VCR's helped that along.

Isaac spends a moment asking Jacob obscure trivia questions and they talk about the cultural impact the series had on technology. If Steve Jobs were alive he'd want to hear how he stole the idea of the iPad from 24th century.

Tune in next week when they talk about Deep Space Nine in Everybody Loves Dax.

The Gorram Nerd Hour: Volume 2 Issue 12

Right from the start, the boys go deep inside The Hole from the mind of Joe Dante. (Sorry, mom.)

More remake/reboot news hit the web again this week, and a new prequel show, The Bates Motel, has finally aired. What will Brian and Jacob think of this? Listen to find out.

Do you remember the "Very Special Episodes" of a sitcom that would mentalfloss.com has a very disturbing list of some the "BEST”.

American Horror Story has given us their new subtitle, and Jacob seems really excited, but not as excited as he was for the new Jurassic Park 4 and his version of the script.

The biggest news of the week, of course, has to do with Veronica Mars and the Kickstarter campaign that shattered all records. Brian is less than impressed.

And finally, after taking a week off from the Felicia Day News category, it is back and might not be the best of news for the boys of The Gorram Nerd Hour.
